 FAQs

  • Our program is year-round, so registration is open enrollment.  You can sign up at any time.  Please ensure that you register for the age group and experience level that makes sense for your family.  In-season club practice schedules will run in addition to activities schedules.

  • Club and Activity registrations and signups can be completed from the Schedule page of our website,  on the Clubs Facebook page, or the Breaking Screens Inc. mobile Mindbody app.

  • Our club welcomes youth aged from 5 to 14 years old.  We group participants by age and skill level to ensure a positive experience for everyone.

  • Check with your coach for specialty items.  Generally speaking- athletic shoes and comfortably fitted athletic attire.  Each Club will require a variety of different needs. 

  • Yes!  Check each club’s Facebook page for team gear stores.  A percentage of sales goes to the club.    

  • Families are not obligated to participate in tournaments or competitions.  Our focus is on skill development, teamwork, life-skills and sportsmanship.  While we do compete, we emphasize personal growth and enjoyment of sport over winning.  We will have various levels of competition available for interested families. 

  • Absolutely!  Feel free to send an email to breakingscreensinc@gmail.com.  As things come up throughout the year, we will also reach out to our families for assistance needs.

  • We have a number of scholarships and financial assistance opportunities that we offer based on need for the upcoming season.  Please reach out to breakingscreensinc@gmail.com to get moving.

  • Contact your coach directly or email breakingscreensinc@gmail.com to be directed to proper coach for assistance. 

  • The mats are sanitized after every practice using a specially formulated cleaner to eliminate bacteria. However, we require everyone's cooperation to maintain the children's health. To help us avoid illness and skin issues, please make sure your kids are washing their hands regularly, showering at home immediately after every practice and staying home when they aren't feeling well.

    Wrestling is a high contact sport and skin diseases can occur. Please monitor your kids for any signs of skin irritation and seek treatment from a medical professional if necessary.

    There are soaps and wipes designed specifically for fighting the spread and development of skin diseases.  Here is a link to the NSAA Skin Condition Release form required to return to wrestling practice and competition if you child experiences symptoms of a skin disease: Skin Condition
